Tell us about your cloud services

Last year, ZDNet UK ran a 'traditional' Service and Reliability survey, looking at dekstop PCs, notebooks, smartphones, servers and so on. This year, as well as reducing the size of the survey (we appreciate that you can suffer from 'survey fatigue'), we're acknowledging the major recent trend in IT by concentrating exclusively on cloud services.

The convergence of virtualistion technology, fast broadband connectivity and a challenging economic climate have caused many organisations to adopt, or consider adopting, outsourced IT services, accessed over the internet, as a way of minimising the cost of doing business and maximising flexibility.

But how well are cloud services working out in practice? That's where you come in: our 15-minute survey is looking for your experiences with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). Your feedback will be analysed, summarised and presented on this site in due course.

Although there are still 30 questions in the survey, not all may be relevant. We have divided it into sections, and if one (Platform as a Service, for example) does not apply to your organisation, please feel free to skip it and move on.

We hear a lot of hype and hot air about the cloud. Help us to see what's actually happening, right now, in businesses by filling in our survey.
