The Windows BSOD Lives On

I was riding the bus to work earlier this week, when I noticed something odd. The buses here in Bern, Switzerland have been equipped with display panels which show some useful information, such as the next few stops with the time until they are reached, if there are any connections to other bus/tram routes at those stops, and the end of the route with the time of day when it will be reached.

Except that morning I noticed that the screen wasn't showing anything useful at all... it was just solid blue, with some small printing on it... I walked forward to get a better look (my eyes aren't what they used to be), and I saw:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

I love it when the stupidity of Windows is put on public display for all to see. I got quite a smile from thinking about the poor bus driver searching frantically for the Ctl-Alt-Del keys... or perhaps he needed to power-cycle the bus!
