TI buys wireless co.
Texas Instruments Inc. will buy Butterfly VLSI Ltd. a developer of radio frequency wireless technology, in a deal worth around $50m (£30.48m).
Butterfly, which develops low-cost chips that enable wireless communication in the 900MHz and 2.4GHz range, will become a division of TI.
