Verbatim on Wednesday announced its line of SureFire portable "combo" hard disk drives that connect with either USB 2.0 or FireWire 800 interfaces -- perfect for one of those new Apple MacBook Pro laptops.

Verbatim on Wednesday announced its line of SureFire portable "combo" hard disk drives that connect with either USB 2.0 or FireWire 800 interfaces -- perfect for one of those new Apple MacBook Pro laptops.
Available in 250GB, 320GB and 500GB capacities, the bus-powered drives are clad in black aluminum with a fingerprint-resistant matte finish. Inside you'll find a 2.5-inch, 5400 RPM HDD, naturally. In all, the drive weighs 0.41 lbs.
The drive comes with a black protective carrying case and both USB and FireWire cables, and retail for the following: 250GB for $110; 320GB for $140; 500GB for $180.
