Verizon set to update BlackBerry Storm OS

Verizon Wireless will roll out the latest BlackBerry OS for the Storm beginning on Sunday. As reported by Crave, Verizon will push BlackBerry OS version 4.

Verizon Wireless will roll out the latest BlackBerry OS for the Storm beginning on Sunday. 

As reported by Crave, Verizon will push BlackBerry OS version 4.7.0.148 to Storm owners Sunday about 3 p.m. EST. An over air download will start at 10 p.m. EST. 

The fixes are supposed to include:

  • A faster camera;
  • Better photo browsing;
  • Blank screens when a call comes in;
  • Automatic wireless network shutoff when battery gets too low;
  • And media player fixes.
