Bithos, who had been Virgin Mobile Australia's chief since 2008, will now head up the consumer division of SingTel's associate joint venture in the Philippines, Globe Telecom.

Former Virgin Mobile Australia marketing director Sue Bailey will now take over Bithos' role, returning from a marketing position with Virgin Mobile in the US.

SingTel has also brought back to Australia Michael Seymour as Virgin Mobile Australia's chief financial officer. Seymour had been CFO of Pacific Bangladesh Telecom, another SingTel affiliate.

Seymour replaces Virgin Mobile Australia's former CFO John Wylkie who had recently left the company.

Big changes are afoot at Virgin Mobile Australia, which this month decided to move 100 staff, including IT support, to its SingTel parent's Optus campus.
