Visio Technical 4.5 adds VBA, vertical beef
Visio today began shipping a new version of Visio Technical, its diagramming and schematic creation software optimised for engineering, architectural design and other technical tasks.
Version 4.5 adds more industry-strength features including a new Wall Layout stencil for joining walls and other shapes, and new SmartShape symbols for vertical niches including heating, ventilation and air conditioning design. Also new is the folding in of a copy of Visual Basic for Applications and an HTML export filter for publishing diagrams on the Web.
Visio claims Visio Technical has already shipped 100,000 copies
