What's on your wish list this year?

It's only one day until Christmas...the kids' presents are all wrapped and I have a few days to get caught up. The kids are pretty easy, if expensive. Game consoles, laptops, media devices (iPods, Zunes, PSPs, etc.), and cell phones (preferably with web-browsing capabilities and QWERTY keyboards). No-brainers there, right? My teachers are begging for new laptops. Dual cores and a gig of RAM (2 if Santa is feeling generous) are a must.

For me, I'm itching for a really portable laptop and a Kindle. The laptop just makes sense as I, like most teachers, spend more time moving around than I do at a desk. My laptop even comes with me from student to student, collecting grades, demonstrating models, and otherwise inducing all sorts of work-related injury at 17" and 9 pounds. Anyone else curious about the new Mac ultraportable?

How about you and your users? What are you looking forward to this coming year and what would you like to have in your classroom that your budget administrators just couldn't swing in 2007?

Have a happy holiday and let me know below. I'll be back on Wednesday with a full report on my kids' electronic haul.
