Rolling in a few weeks before the holidays are over, Yamaha has unveiled the 3D-compatible YSP-2200 Digital Sound Projector.
At 3.5-inches tall, the YSP-2200 with its compact subwoofer and sound bar sporting 16 speaker beam drivers are intended to be ready for any home entertainment set-up without adding clutter.
Sound quality is top-notch on the YSP-2200 with 7.1 surround sound, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD decoding, and HDMI 1.4a support to connect to HDTVs and Blu-ray disc players.
All of this sounds lovely until you get to how much the darn thing costs. The Yamaha YSP-2200 carries an exorbitant price tag of $999.95.
