If you've ever wondered about the security of Facebook Chat, this might appease your worries. When Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg can't to talk to Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg in person, he prefers they use Facebook Chat.

The small tidbit was revealed in a recent USA Today interview with Sandberg. You can watch the full video embedded above, or read the relevant part I've transcribed below:

"When you're trying to reach someone... there are people who really like to use chat," Sandberg, who recently interviewed Republican leaders and Oprah Winfrey, told USA Today. "I tend to chat with Mark Zuckerberg when we're not in the same place. My sister... you have to call her on her cell. My husband... e-mail is better. You know how you have to reach people."

Sure, she doesn't explicitly say "Facebook Chat" but it's really the only major instant messaging service with the word Chat in it. For some reason, I just don't see the two of them using Windows Live Messenger or Google Talk.
