2009 Greentech investments
Greentech world active for VCs but money falls from 2008.

More investments, but less total money as greentech VC interest broadens but does not get giddy. That's the conclusion of a study of 2009 VC investments from Greentech Media. You can see their summary here.
2009 saw under $5 billion in greentech investments compared to over $7.5 billion in 2008. Solar got nearly 30% of all VC money and biofuel got about 20%. Water, long an ignored resource in the investment world, saw 33 VC deals in 2009.
