MONDAY UPDATE

Gold and oil prices climbing higher to begin the week. Shock and awe prevail in the markets.

As the dollar continues to drop in comparative value under the U.S.'s alleged "strong dollar" policies, many commdities like gold, platinum and oil are continuing to rise in price globally. It's gotten so bad the oil-rich are telling each other to sell dollars and buy their own oil! And we should not expect OPEC to suddenly produce more oil, that's not happening says one member.

If you're keeping score, crude oil increased in market value almost 20% last month. Recession, inflation, consumer fears or no, it's highly unlikely that many Americans will stop driving as much as they do now. So that's only more good news for all the investors and innovators working on alternative energy. How obvious is that?

The world's largest oil producer, Saudi Arabia, has an energy plan for the future. SOLAR. Why didn't we think of that?
