3DTV is one of the bigger themes emerging out of CES 2010 and now RealD, which is a leader in movie theater 3D technology, is officially on the home bandwagon.

RealD said that its has deals with Sony, JVC, Samsung, Toshiba, Panasonic and DirectTV to support its format to deliver 3D in the home. These electronics players will work with RealD to develop glasses compatible with their 3D displays.

The move makes sense since some of these deals are extensions to current movie partnerships. RealD will be supported into Sony, JVC, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic displays.

Next question: Are you really going to wear the glasses at home?
