I have been on Yahoo (US) a few times a day for many years, and I was somewhat flummoxed today when I went to click on the Finance icon. As I remember, it's always at the top of the page, left side. Today it's gone and the Weather icon is in its place. Could the bad finanical weather Yahoo is experiencing be a reason for subverting the Finance icon? Below is the evidence (chopped up for viewing purposes).
Seems like an untimely modification of the user interface, but wrapping a conspiracy theory around it seems way too simplistic. Does Yahoo need more clicks in its Weather channel? Is it a new icon rotation? Hopefully someone from Yahoo will have an answer...
