Open source software projects, such as that behind Vyatta's network virtualization technology, are typically the product of a very creative community. Not only do community members develop interesting technology (see Vyatta - changing the world of routers, firewalls and VPNs and Vyatta Open Source Routing and Security Software), they often demonstrate creativity in many other ways.
One of the ways I enjoy the most is the creation of fake product ads. I remember the folks at DECUS (Digital Equipment Corporation User Society) creating a number of wonderful ads that were shown at group meetings.
Well, the Vyatta community has had some fun as well. You may enjoy these fake ads as much as I did. They can be found here: http://www.vyatta.org/community/ads.
Have you seen other fake ads created by community members somewhere? Please send along the pointers.
