Belron, the company behind names such as Autoglass and France's Carglass, has signed a £36m, five-year IT outsourcing deal with CSC. The deal relates to the applications and infrastructure that support Belron's 'Bridge' programme, made up of business processes linked to ERP and other systems. CSC will host and manage the technology behind the Bridge initiative, for example running helpdesks. The roll out will start with Carglass before moving to operations in 23 other countries by 2005.
