ebookers.com has bought UK-based Lawson Interline Travel for a mere £230,000 - less than a quarter of its value last year. The depressed travel market had left Lawson in the hands of liquidators, who were so desperate to offload the firm, they managed to complete to sale to Ebookers in under four days. Lawson has franchise agreements in France, Germany and Switzerland.
