Google barbecue causes fire at London offices

The fire services have been called to Google's London offices, where a barbecue on a roof terrace went out of control.

The Victoria offices have been evacuated and everyone is safe, a spokesperson told ZDNet UK on Thursday afternoon.

"It's just a small section of the terrace outside where a barbecue was taking place today," the spokesperson said. "The fire brigade is there. We don't know exactly what has happened, but everyone is safe which is the main thing."
