in brief iiNet has inked a deal with 3 Mobile which will see the ISP offer mobile broadband from the carrier to customers.
iiNet will become a dealer of the service with 3 carrying out activation, billing and technical support services. The invoices will carry both brands.
There was also the opportunity for "close collaboration between iiNet and 3 in the future", according to iiNet's statement. iiNet chief technology officer Greg Bader said earlier in the year that the ISP was looking for a partner to offer mobile services with.
"This strategic relationship complements our existing suite of products, while also paving the way for collaboration on a broader range of future service offerings," iiNet managing director Michael Malone said.
