Netflix discs for gaming consoles are certainly on their way out the door now that the Nintendo Wii has dropped the disc, one week following the same announcement for Sony's PlayStation 3.
Starting today, current Netflix subscribers in the U.S. and Canada (the only two countries where Netflix is available) can access the Watch Instantly service via the Wii Menu with a broadband Internet connection.
Netflix started shipping the streaming discs for the Nintendo Wii earlier this year, so that wasn't a bad turnaround time to make things more simple. Just don't forget to recycle your discs now.
