T-Mobile has changed the name of its version of the HTC Hero.
Previously known as the G1 Touch, it will now be called the G2 Touch. The handset will be released later this month, although the operator refuses to specify when.
Changing "G1" to "G2" is logical. Why they need to call it the Touch, however, I do not know. The original G1 was already touchscreen. It's not quite like the transition from "iPod" to "iPod Touch" now, is it?
