The building, which the telco has said is the third-largest managed network operations centre in the Asia-Pacific region, will help the company to manage the traffic on its network, which it said has increased exponentially in the last five years.

Telstra hoped the centre would aid smoother operation of customer networks and managed devices, helping the company to respond quickly to its customers.
