Tesco has revised its iPhone pricing, a few months before the next generation of Apple's smartphone comes out.

On Monday, Tesco Mobile said customers taking a new 12-month contract at £35 per month would get the iPhone 3G 8GB for £100, the iPhone 3GS 16GB for £200 or the iPhone 3GS 32GB for £275. This plan gives unlimited texts, data and Wi-Fi, with 750 voice minutes included per month.

A new 24-month plan at £45 per month will give customers a free iPhone 3GS 16GB with unlimited calls, texts, data and Wi-Fi. This marks a cut from the previous iPhone plan that had such features, which cost £60 a month.

The next version of the iPhone is due sometime this summer. Featuring iPhone OS 4.0, it will offer business users functionality including multitasking, improved device management and security, and the ability to use support Exchange accounts on one device. The new version of the OS will be compatible with iPhone 3GS models.
