Texas Instruments plant hit by Japan quake damage
The company has reported its manufacturing site in Miho, which is 40 miles north-west of Tokyo, has suffered substantial damage due to the earthquake
Texas Instruments has said its manufacturing site in Miho, Japan suffered substantial damage during the 9.0 magnitude earthquake on Friday.

The company said on Monday it will reinstate production at the facility, which is located about 40 miles north-west of Tokyo, in stages: in May, several lines; by mid-July, full production, therefore ensuring shipments by September.
Texas Instruments warned that this schedule could be delayed if the power grid in the region remains unstable.
