The Conservative Party has introduced a debate over the UK/US extradition treaty to Wednesday's parliamentary agenda.

The move was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the leader of the House of Commons. According to the Daily Mail, the Tories intend to force a vote among MPs over the extradition of Gary McKinnon, the so-called Nasa Hacker.

McKinnon's case has brought a great deal of attention to the treaty, under which the US gets to demand suspects be sent over from the UK without probable cause, but the UK has no such right in reciprocity.
