I haven't seen any word yet that T-Mobile will be following suit with a lowering of the price, but with the upcoming Motorola CLIQ and holiday season we may just see them also offer a lower price. I am past my return period, but honestly I knew the price going in and found it worth the value to buy in the first place so I am not bitter. Maybe I can call up and see if T-Mobile will give me some kind of service credit if they do drop the price. I do think a $200 or $250 price would be more attractive and result in more sales of the device though. With the Touch Pro2 at $200 on at least two of the four major carriers there will be pressure on AT&T to launch their model at this $200 price point as well.
UPDATE: As I stated in my title, this news was not firm and as the folks at Brighthand were able to find out, this price is only for a select group of enterprise customers. Specifically the following is what Sprint provided:
Starting tomorrow, the price drop for HTC TouchPro2 from Sprint is only available to corporate liable customers with 100+ lines. All other channels will sell at original price $349.99 with a two-year service agreement and after $100 mail-in rebate.
