Vivitar also brought out some new budget-friendly and entry-level camcorders to play with at CES 2011, including some models sporting 3D and Wi-Fi capabilities.
Then we have a pair of higher-quality video cameras, the 5.1-megapixel DVR 790HD (pictured above) and DVR 780HD. Shared specs consist of 4x zoom, HDMI connectivity, Lithium-ion batteries, SD card support and an MSRP of $199.95. The DVR 780HD has a 2-inch panel and Wi-Fi for direct uploading of photos and videos, whereas the DVR 790HD shoots in 3D and sports a 2.7-inch display.
These and several more of Vivitar's recently announced digital camcorders are expected to ship this spring. Consumers will also have a variety of delectable colors to choose from including butterscotch, root beer, licorice, red-hot, cotton candy, grape, blueberry, spearmint and sugar free. (That last one could mean clear or white, or something we've never, ever seen before.)
