Yahoo! joins personalised view crew
Yahoo! is the latest Internet search service to announce a personalised view filter that lets users filter out irrelevant information and only receive data they are interested in.
Called My Yahoo!, the service available in beta form with a guided tour at www.my.yahoo.com
PC Daily News publisher Ziff-Davis has its Personal View filter available at www.zdnet.co.uk and another search engine, Infoseek, announced plans for a similar service last week. It can be viewed at www.personal.infoseek.com.
