Facebook takes messaging to a new level (images)

CEO Mark Zuckerberg took the wraps off Facebook's latest innovation, "seamless messaging" that lets users communicate among e-mail, chat or SMS clients.

Seamless messaging allows a person who prefers to communicate by e-mail to send a message to a person who is using chat. When the chatter returns the message in chat, it takes the form of an e-mail.
