Google's Nexus 6 phablet, Nexus 9 tablet: in pictures

Google's Nexus 6 "phablet" phone was built by Motorola. It features a a 5.9-inch quad-HD display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels (or 493 pixels-per-inch, stronger than an Apple Retina display).

The camera can take 13-megapixel pictures. The Nexus 6 also lands with a Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.7Ghz processor, and Adreno 420 graphics.

The "phablet" requires just 15 minutes of charging for six hours use. 

Google boasts 24 hours of use from a full charge. 

The Nexus 6 will be available for pre-order in late October, and will be out in stores in November.

Google's Nexus 9 tablet includes with an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display.

The tablet comes in three colors: black, brown, and white.

Google said the soft-grip backing and curves makes it easy to hold. 

It's extremely thin for a tablet, but it's said to be sturdy in its design.

The Nexus 9 has a thin bezel around the sides of the display, maximizing space for the display.

The magnetically-attached keyboard allows for typing at different angles.

The keyboard is sold separately.

Both the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 land with the latest version of Android, dubbed "Lollipop."

Pre-orders go live on October 17, with availability slated for November.
