Image Gallery: Handy Tools Pack for S60 3rd Edition devices

There are several excellent applications for Nokia S60 devices and some of the best utilities are included in the Handy Tools Pack from Paragon Software. There are 11 utilities in the suite and I took a quick look at 7 of them that I found very useful. Take a look at the screenshots and then check out the video of each application in use.

You can switch between month, week, day, and task views.

The week view is much better in this application than in the S60 calendar.

You can select what view appears when you launch the application and how data appears.

There are several options in Handy Profiles that allow you to control your profiles.

You can create your own custom profiles too.

My favorite aspect of the program is the ability to have profiles activate/switch automatically based upon rules you establish.

There is a currency converter in Handy Converter and I found this to be the most useful function in the program.

A few settings let you switch currency and update the conversion values.

In addition to a currency converter you can view conversions for monetary rates and clothing sizes.

Length, weight, area, and volume conversions can also be made with Handy Converter.

You select your current value and unit and then enter what unit you wish to convert to see the corresponding units.

Speed conversions can also quickly be performed.

The current condition view gives you lots of great information about the weather.

The graph view shows you the conditions and high/low temperatures for the 5 day forecast.

Using the menu you can switch views, force an update, change cities, send the forecast and access the settings.

Settings for updates are controlled in the program.

SI units or metric units can be selected.

The Task list view can show you currently running applications and most recently used applications.

You can setup your Favorites to include applications, phone numbers, or text message contacts.

There are several options available in Handy Taskman for controlling your applications.

The settings allow you to set the default view and more.

Notice the memory information available to you on the right side of the display.

Handy Keylock is a simple utility that offers much needed functionality on your S60 device.
