The HTC Touch Diamond is one of the most innovative and powerful Windows Mobile devices available with the new TouchFLO 3D, 4GB flash drive, FM stereo, and much more. The packaging is quite unique and you definitely feel like you have a quality product in your hand.

The HTC Touch Diamond box is unusually shaped and this shows another angle of the box.

The box has a list of the specifications of the devices and you can see the unique shape of the box in this photo.

The box stands up on its own when rested on the side.

Inside the outer retail package is a slick, high glossy box with a thin plastic lid that lifts off to reveal the inside contents.

The inner lid is removed to reveal the HTC Touch Diamond and other box contents. The inner lid is on the left and lower compartment on the right.

Under a flap in the lid you will find the HTC customer care flyer and a CD with the manual for the HTC Touch Diamond.

The Touch Diamond is surrounded by the two ear buds after you take off the inner box lid.

After you take out the Diamond and lift off the divider you can see the cables and connector for the stereo headset.

The Quick Start Guide will help you get the battery installed and started with the device.

There is a warranty card, Quick Start Guide, TouchFLO 3D guide, screen protector, and accessory brochure in the very bottom part of the box.

The stylus is angled at the end to match the unique back design of the Touch Diamond.

The stylus is small and too light for my preferences, but it does keep the device lightweight.

The Touch Diamond is similar in length and width to the HTC built T-Mobile Shadow.

Back comparison of both devices show the camera opening is very similar.

The camera is 3.2 megapixels and I look forward to seeing how well it takes photos. There is no flash on the camera.

Here you can see the camera and angles on the device back.

The Touch Diamond has an angled back, but it isn't as pronounced as photos show. It is subtle and actually looks very classy and fashionable.

The power button and speaker are located at the top of the device.

The HTC ExtUSB port is on the bottom next to the microphone. The stylus silo is on one side and extends down to the bottom. A lanyard strap is also present, but looks like a tight fit to get secured.

On the left side you will find the volume control buttons along with the words HTC Innovation.

The stylus silo is on the right side along with the 4GB flash label.

The stylus is metal and plastic and has good length. It is too light for my tastes though. It also has a magnetic mechanism to secure it in the silo as you insert it.

The device is quite small, especially when you consider it has a VGA display and is a full Pocket PC touch screen device.

The buttons are areas on the front panel around the navigational pad. There are small icons around the pad that shows the directions. Home, Back, Talk, and End areas are around the pad.

The entire back panel is removable and shows the battery and SIM card slot.
