Photos: Adidas, Samsung phone--it's your trainer calling

Adidas and Samsung have come up with a new use for a cell phone--as a personal trainer called miCoach. The important components to miCoach are: the miCoach Samsung phone, a heart rate monitor, a stride sensor chip that fits all Adidas running footwear, and the miCoach Web site to keep track of your training program.
The Samsung phone has an MP3 player that allows the trainee to listen to music while working out. It also contains a 2MP camera, FM radio, pedometer, and wireless Web access. Plus, it has real-time coach narration during the workout. "Faster, faster, you lazy ..."
The miCoach phone connects to a stride sensor in the trainee's shoe and a heart monitor attached to the trainee's chest. It records the data and synchs with a personalized Web site to analyze and produce a fitness plan.
miCoach is a slider phone, you can even make calls on it.

European soccer coach, Jose Mourinho, aka "the Special One," says miCoach is with athletes "every step of the way."
