Photos: Second coming for touchscreen BlackBerry

Storm range bears new fruit...
RIM today announced the launch of the BlackBerry Storm2 smartphone, the company's second touchscreen handset.
The device is the successor to the original Storm, launched last year and, like its predecessor, the Storm2 is exclusive to the Vodafone network in the UK.
The Storm2 is available from the operator under a 24-month contract costing £35 per month.

The Storm2 has built-in GPS and wi-fi, and a media player for videos, pictures and music.
BlackBerry's Media Sync software also allows the device to sync with iTunes and Windows Media Player.

The device runs on the BlackBerry 5.0 operating system and RIM claims the battery will provide between five and six hours of talk time.
The Storm2 also comes with BlackBerry's SurePress - a touchscreen that gives users' tactile feedback when typing and allows the device to differentiate between commands: for example, a user could highlight an option on a drop-down menu by touching it, and then press down on the screen to select it.
