landspeeder

The exhibit "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination," running at Boston's Museum of Science from Oct. 27, 2005, to April 30, 2006, plays host to costumes and props from all six "Star Wars" films and takes a look at current research that could someday lead to real-life versions of the cinematic technologies. One of the items on display is Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder, from the original 1977 movie, now known as "Episode IV: A New Hope."

Millennium Falcon cockpit

Visitors to the museum can take a short spin in a replica of the cockpit from the Millennium Falcon, Han Solo's spaceship, also from "Episode IV." The multimedia presentation is designed to simulate a "jump to lightspeed" experience that heads to the edge of the universe.
