Screenshots: Ask.com makes search a little easier


Hovering the cursor over images enlarges them, while hovering over video will play it in the thumbnail. Clicking on certain audio links plays a 30-second clip. Click on any photo to get a full-sized view.

An image search gives more than just pictures. There are suggestions in the left, the actual images in the center and more information on the right.
Search through today's news on "search engines." Note the RSS feeds.
When you put your mouse on a story headline, an icon comes up on the right. Clicking the icon will save the story/blog for later reading.
Mousing over the "binoculars" icon will give you a preview of the site.
News is broken into sections but unlike Google, each story is listed separately.
Ask.com gives top billing to blogs and makes it easy to search through them.
While in the blog section, you can still search for news.
The blog section gives a list of feeds that you can try.
In the blog section you can subscribe to other sites.
It's even got a link and a description of Google.
