Seidio kickstand cases for Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X (gallery)

The HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III are excellent media-focused smartphones, but it isn't the best experience to have to hold up your phone for a couple hours at a time or prop it up on a makeshift stand. I've been using a couple of kickstand cases from Seidio and think a kickstand case is a nice solution for the long commute or flight.

As you can see on the back of the case, there are openings for the flash, camera, and speaker. The kickstand is prominently displayed on the bottom quarter of the case.

The active combo includes a holster. The holster front is covered in felt to protect the front of the Galaxy S III. You can also see the bottom securing points of the holster.

There are two spring loaded clips, one for holding the GSIII in the holster and the other for securing to your belt.

The holster is constructed of durable plastic with corners to hold your phone in place.

The Active case has two parts, a soft polymer inner shell and a heavier plastic frame piece. The inner piece is black while the frame piece is available in a variety of colors. The red looks sharp when used with my blue GSIII.

You can see the case doesn't add much to the sleek GSIII and it looks great in my hand.

The corners are pretty well protected with the frame piece fitting into areas of the inner polymer shell.

The openings do not seem to hinder the operation of anything on the phone.

The kickstand extends out from the back. Notice how good the red color looks with the black inner shell.

The white case matches the white One X quite well and looks great.
