Yammer has updated its apps for Android and iOS this week, adding features so that you can better share information across your company. Some of the new features include the ability to reply and "like" conversations from within the feed, navigation that slides left to switch between multiple feeds and an in-app preview for Office, PDF, RTF and other file formats.

The Macquarie Essential Australian Dictionary app provides you with a reference when you're on the go. You never have to be embarrassed at a business lunch again, or be at a loss when writing a report. It contains over 74,000 definitions, 41,000 headwords, 8000 phrases and 2700 colloquial words and phrases. The app will suggest search terms as you type and will also let you search for similar-sounding words. And, because it's Australian, you'll be able to make sure you're not accidentally adopting American spelling.

Unisys Storage Survey

This app asks you to complete a survey about your storage requirements and the technology you use, and then allows you look at how other companies would have answered the survey questions, as a benchmark. It also, unsurprisingly, pushes Unisys services, and provides access to reports, infographics and links to research.

If you've headed up to Orlando, Florida, to SAP's Sapphire conference, this app will help you arrange your time there. The app provides agenda information and maps, and facilitates social interaction with other attendees.

Google has updated its Google+ app for iPhone, with an Android update on its way, reworking it so that it's a better visual experience, making it easier to scan content with crisper fonts, larger pictures and by changing how the app surfaces objects when scrolling.

Voice over internet protocol (VoIP) and messaging app Viber is now on BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7. The app is used for phone conversations, messages and sharing locations between Viber users. The "free" communications app has 69 million iPhone and Android users, who talk for over 1 billion minutes per month, according to the company.

GDocs lets you access, edit and upload documents on your Google Docs account. You can search your documents, download documents to your device so you can view them offline and rename or delete documents.

Photo Studio

Photo Studio is a photo editor, which allows you to perform all of the usual edits on your photos, such as cropping, adjusting brightness and contrast, colour corrections and so forth. There are also a range of effects filters you can apply (and BlackBerry users get frames). The app is free, and effects packs can be purchased.
