Today seems to be a day of superlatives on ZDNet, and A-DATA has thrown its hat into the ring with what it calls the "world's slimmest portable hard drive."
A-DATA's fashionably-named NH92 is just 12mm -- or 0.47 in. -- thick and tips the scales at 152g, or a third of a pound. It's the slimmest drive on the market and the lightest such product with an aluminum case, the company says.
As is all the rage in the portable HDD market, the 2.5-in. NH92 comes in three colors: light sliver, cherry pink and ocean blue. The drive comes with a leather pouch and is available between 250GB and 500GB capacities.
It's got a USB 2.0 interface. No word on pricing.
