'A device that will blow the roof off all previous Blackberrys'

At least that's what BoyGeniusReport is saying today.

Apparently, Blackberry addicts should reconsider waiting and salivating over the Pearl Flip 8220, Curve 8900, Bold or Storm because BGR has "confirmed from two independent sources that RIM is working on a device that will blow the roof off all previous models."

What kind of device, you ask? Reportedly, the device will pack a five-megapixel auto-focus camera, 1GB of RAM and a "near-HD quality" screen. No word on form factor, but it's safe to guess somewhere between the disparate styles of Bold and Storm. Could be Treo-esque, they say. Sould be a slide-out device, they say.

What's more, another of BGR's sources claims that RIM is "hard at work" on a second generation Storm device, so far along that they’ve even started the first stages of a third generation Storm.
