We still have to wait months for the actual commercial delivery of the bamboo-covered EcoBook concept notebook from ASUS, which you can read about on CNet's U.K. site. Question to self: If a computer is covered with grass or wood or some-such, is it really better for the environment? I want to know a whole lot more about what's in this thing before I pass judgment.

Still, if you're into statement gadgets that'll broadcast your eco-inclinations, you may want to grab yourselves one of these USB memory "twigs" (OK, so they're really called Wooden Memory Sticks but they sure look like kindling) from Guido Oooms in Holland. At roughly $60 for the 256Mbyte edition, they ain't cheap, but they certainly make a statement. And they're kinda fun.
