Acer America has a slew of new Aspire TimelineX portable computers ready for the taking, each customizable for those on a budget or who want the best specs possible.

Each of the notebooks listed below boast a battery life of up to eight hours and are configurable in a number of different ways. The standout option is the Aspire TimelineX 1830T-68U118, starting at $899.99. Intended for travelers and anyone else often on-the-go, this 3.09-pound laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7-680UM processor with Turbo Boost and it hosts an 11.6-inch LED-backlit HD display.

If you're looking for something a little cheaper, there is a base model, so we'll start with that and move on to the rest of the new collection.

There are some similarities across the board. Those would consist of Windows 7 Home Premium OS, Intel Core i3/i5 processor options, up to 4GB of RAM (expandable to 8GB), 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Ethernet, HDMI, VGA and up to four USB 2.0 ports. It should be noted that each display has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1,366 x 768 resolution.
