Apple's OS X to miss MacWorld
Troubled Apple will not release Mac OS X until February 24, too late for the MacWorld Exhibition in San Francisco.

Troubled Apple will not release Mac OS X until February 24, too late for the MacWorld Exhibition in San Francisco.
Launch of the next-generation operating system had been scheduled for summer 2000 but was subjected to an unexplained six-month delay. Apple now intends to launch the system with a massive marketing campaign. Steve Jobs is expected to make a formal announcement of the shipping date at the show in January.
