Cash-strapped start-ups asked to pitch big

Exclusive entrepreneurial club Innovation Bay has put out a call asking for cash-strapped start-ups to pitch their business ideas to its members at an invitation-only dinner event.

Start-ups seeking cash are invited to create a 90-second video pitch, telling attendees why they should invest.

Across the last five Innovation Bay "Angel Dinner" events, over $6 million has been raised for businesses who have pitched their ideas.

Founded in 2003 by two chief executives and an entrepreneur, Innovation Bay holds breakfast and dinner events for other entrepreneurs and business leaders. Membership in the organisation is by invitation only.
