The other day I had a chance to chat with Amir Husain, CTO of ClearCube, and Susannah Kirksey, VP of Marketing for ClearClube. They seem to have a clear vision of providing application virtualization across quite a number of important mobile and desktop operating systems. I'm not sure that I could do it justice in a small Blog post.

ClearCube sees that application virtualization and access virtualization are critical components of a global IT infrastructure that offers high performance, security and reliability while still helping organizations keep their administrative and software licensing costs in line. Their Sentral application virtualization and management environment just won the "Best Desktop Virtualization" award at VMWORLD 2007 over VMware's own entry. That's quite impressive.

ClearCube is building a framework that will move Sentral right into the intersection of several major trends including application virtualization, software as a service, and supporting intensely mobile staff members. The company has plans to deliver encapsulated Windows applications to a number of non-Windows devices.

If your organization is searching for a way to manage and deliver applications to Windows desktops and a host of different mobile devices, you may find ClearCube's current products and future roadmap compelling.
