In June, Forrester Research published its list of the 10 best integrators for handling Salesforce.com implementations and solutions. Now, one of the companies on that list -- well-known cloud services company Cloud Sherpas -- is projecting 40 percent growth this year for its practice.

The company anticipates overall revenue of about $120 million for 2013, which is interesting because just two months ago it was expected sales of about $100 million. (It doesn't break out the specific revenue for its Salesforce-related business unit.) Cloud Sherpas has been involved with Salesforce deployments since 2007, and it has more certified technical architects on its staff than any other cloud services broker after doubling its headcount over the past year, according to the Atlanta-based company.

Acquisitions have helped Cloud Sherpas achieve this stature: During the past 12 monhts, it picked up the teams and services offerings of CloudTrigger and Innoveer, which specialized in this area. Now, it handles Salesforce engagements in more than a dozen countries and holds Platinum-level status in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia.

The companies listed on the Forrester list were all screened by the depth of their Salesforce.com practice. To be included, they had to employ at least 200 designated implementation specialists and have completed at least 40 Salesforce engagements, among other criteria.

Cloud Sherpas' Salesforce services include CRM roadmap and process design, solution and technical architecture definitions, data and systems integration, marketing automation, customer service and support, change management, and Force.com development.
