Compaq MMX Presarios due February
Compaq will arrive slightly late at the MMX party when it releases a new line of Presario multimedia home PCs in February.
The line will complement the Intel chips with synchronous DRAM, 16-speed CD-ROM drives and JBL Pro Sound. Compaq also said it has optimised its MPEG video and wavetable audio software for MMX. Intel's Videophone software will be added later in 1997.
