Called NotesGuard, the product scans databases and mail files in Lotus's groupware flagship. The product looks for virus activity in in-bound and out-bound e-mail messages, including attachments and OLE objects, and alerts the administrator if viruses are discovered.
NotesGuard will be available by the end of the year, starting at about £400. All Notes platforms will be covered except Unix which will follow early in 1997.
Dr Solomon's can be contacted by telephone on 01296-318700.
