While rumors about a smaller form-factor iPhone have been around almost since the original iPhone debuted, a smaller iPhone has finally hit the market in China. And it's a fake.

Technabob reports that the CECT m188 being sold at Bigboxstore and on eBay for around $100 is an unlocked 900/1800/1900MHz GSM phone that supports dual SIM cards. More shocking is the design and user interface - which are almost a complete ripoff of the iPhone.

The m188 is smaller than an iPhone, measuring just 86mm x 48mm x 11mm or about the size of a credit card. The screen measures 2.6-inch diagonal, and can be operated by touch and via an included stylus. It includes GPRS connectivity, MP3 player, MP4/AVI video player, and an FM radio with scheduled recording capability. It also acts like a digital camera, but image resolution is a tiny 640×480.
