The House of Representatives' electronic system for recording and displaying votes by members broke down during the middle of a tense, crucial vote on the House floor. Apparently, the display portion of the system stopped working, while the vote recording mechanism still functioned, leading to lots of confusion.

Apparently, the display portion of the system stopped working, while the vote recording mechanism still functioned, leading to lots of confusion. According to CNN, "A chamber full of impatient and skeptical members replied with catcalls and groans."
